Supplier Fulfillment Policy
Shop Expedite is a retail platform that coordinates the sale of automotive parts and accessories with a network of trusted suppliers and manufacturer-direct distributors. This page explains how that network operates so you know exactly what to expect when you order from us.
1. Our Role
We are the retail platform responsible for:
- Curating products and presenting accurate listings.
- Processing payments via Stripe.
- Coordinating logistics with suppliers and carriers.
- Providing customer service, RMAs and warranty intake.
- Honoring our published Return, Refund, Shipping, Warranty and Privacy Policies.
2. Our Suppliers
Orders may be fulfilled by:
- CJ Dropshipping — global parts and accessories.
- Doba — aggregated US wholesale catalog.
- Keystone Automotive — light truck and SUV accessories.
- Meyer Distributing — performance, accessories and lighting.
- Turn14 Distribution — performance parts and aftermarket.
- Premier Performance — diesel and performance category.
- Bodega — regional aftermarket supplier.
- Manufacturer-direct programs and OEM distribution.
- Future third-party distributors added as our network grows.
Each supplier has its own warehouses, lead times, carrier mix, return tolerance and warranty terms. We display the most relevant information on the product page wherever we receive it.
3. What May Vary by Supplier
| Topic | Why it may vary |
|---|---|
| Processing time | Each supplier has its own picking & packing SLA. |
| Shipping carriers | Some use USPS/UPS, others use FedEx/DHL or LTL freight. |
| Box and packaging | Items may arrive in manufacturer packaging, supplier-branded boxes or polybags. |
| Tracking detail | Some suppliers provide event-level tracking; others provide only final delivery. |
| Warranty length | Set by the manufacturer or supplier, not by Shop Expedite. |
| Return tolerance | Some suppliers restrict returns on electrical or modified items. |
| Refund speed | Supplier inspection times vary. |
When supplier-specific rules apply we disclose them on the product page, in the order confirmation, and inside the RMA we issue.
4. Multiple Shipments
A single order may be split across suppliers if items live in different warehouses. You will receive a separate tracking notification for each shipment. The order is charged once at purchase regardless of how it is split.
5. Inventory Accuracy
Supplier inventory feeds update frequently but not in real time. In rare cases a product may show as available at checkout and then become unavailable before dispatch. If this happens we:
- Notify you within 1–3 business days.
- Offer a substitute, a delayed-availability ETA, or a full refund.
6. Cross-Border Items
Some products may ship from international warehouses with customs clearance handled by the supplier or carrier. Customs duties for items shipped to the United States are typically prepaid; if any duties remain due they will be communicated to you before charge.
7. Supplier-Specific Overrides
Where legally permitted, supplier-specific rules may override the Shop Expedite default policies (Return, Warranty, Shipping). Any such override will be clearly disclosed before purchase. Default Shop Expedite policies apply when no supplier-specific rule is published.
8. Customer Service Remains With Us
Even when an order is fulfilled by a third party, your customer service relationship is with Shop Expedite. You contact us; we coordinate with the supplier on your behalf.
9. Adding New Suppliers
We continually evaluate new suppliers to expand selection and improve delivery speed. New suppliers must meet our minimum criteria for product authenticity, packaging quality, tracking transparency and warranty responsiveness.
